Location: Barcelona, Spain

Scope: Design, Fabrication/Build, Rendering and Architectural Plans

Enhancing Analog Work With Digital Tools

Inspired by legendary Spanish chef Ferran Adrià’s ground-breaking research, VVOXSTUDIO furnished elBullilab’s creative laboratory with several modular and functional spaces. The goal was to create a room that would be unexpected and surprising while providing storage of data that can then be shared online.

In partnership Telefónica and Microsoft, we designed a unique and engaging space within the lab, serving both as a streamlining documentation tool and as a knowledge-sharing, collaborative experience. Over 60 sheets of black laminated plywood was CNC milled into stylish chairs, tables and other furniture.

Made in Brooklyn

The renderings and architectural plans for this project were made by VVOXSTUDIO. The furniture was built and fabricated by us, in our facilities in Brooklyn, NYC and then shipped to Barcelona.
